We’re here for the whole family.

We offer therapy to the family members of trans and non-binary people.

From our family’s lived experience, we really believe in the power of giving the family members and partners space to feel their feelings and ask their questions, they too are on a journey.

Nutshell is a family founded non-profit charity. Made up of sisters Lucy and Kitty and Dad, Nicky, a transgender woman.

We created our charity as an outcome of our own experience (read our story here)

We are based in the UK and we offer therapy both in person and online.

Who is Nutshell?

A colorful ticket with the title 'TransTrain' and the subtitle 'A Nutshell Journey.' The ticket features four bright yellow icons representing the journey. There is a QR code on the right with the text 'Scan here to start your journey.' The background is blue with white dots resembling stars.

Why do we exist?

To fill the gap:

Our experience as a family highlighted the lack of support (through therapy or other means) and information available for the families and partners of trans and non-binary people.

Nutshell is here to offer this therapy and space.

To raise awareness:

By sharing our story we educate and raise awareness of what a transition journey could look like for people who otherwise may not understand.

To show our allyship:

We stand with and support the charities and organisations doing incredible work for the LGBTQIA+ community.
